A tactical third person shooter in a post-apocalyptic future. You, and possibly a friend, watch the action from a top-view perspective, and control two of four mercenaries on their way down through the Epsilon Nine bunker. On the way you have to battle armies of mutated creatures while navigating your way through the labyrinthine tunnels. You will find weapons to aid your quest, and credit chips for use in the shops that appear between levels. After the first floor, which is always the same, the levels you enter will be selected randomly. Difficulty changes both qualitatively and quantitatively during the course of the game. You will need more that a quick trigger finger to beat the lower levels. The aim of the game is to reach the 40th floor, 2000 feet below the surface, and destroy the breeding-machine dwelling there. You control a character named Zep throughout this game. The game consists of navigating Zep throughout a level to reach a certain location which allows him to advance to the next level. This is not such an easy task, however. Many obstacles will be in your path, and it is up to you to determine the best (and sometimes only way) to get around them. Zep has the ability to create special “blocks” by using the life energy from the ground he is standing on. By building the blocks in specific patterns, Zep can alter the landscape to his ability thus allowing him to reach his goal! Again, not everything is as it seems. Beach volleyball is always pleasant. The object of the game is for each player to send the ball regularly over the net to ground it on the opponent's court, and to prevent the ball from being grounded on its own court. A point is added to the player's score every time when the opponent drops the ball or hits it more then three times in a row. In the game we used the sideout scoring system. A player wins a game by scoring 15 points with a two-point advantage - this is a classic scheme. We complicated it by the feature when the winner receives additional 1000 points for the points advantage, and if he won for less than 15 minutes, 10 points are added for every second left. Smooth 3D animation, realistic physics and striking dynamism - these are the main features of this game. Several levels of difficulty, the possibility to play with computer or with a real rival will not let you get bored waiting for the beach season to come.
